  27. The only type of speed lost due to the bus should be access to the hard drive,
  28. as the Shablamm uses its own on board memory.  You could help eliminate this
  29. by getting a fast, wide, SCSI controller and hard-drive.

  35. It uses its own, and they have some kind of special design (TrueCache) which
  36. gives its memory an access time of 15ns (very good).

  49. The NEC may be somewhat faster, depending on the disk and video subsystems in 
  50. your 486, but you will gain in compatibility as you will be able to choose whether
  51. to boot to a intel compat. 486, or a MIPS with NT.
